The Renaissance era of Beyoncé is all about the glam.
The pop star unveiled the official artwork for Renaissance, her eagerly awaited seventh studio album, today. Renaissance is scheduled for release on July 29.
The breathtaking photo shows the singer mounted on a silver holographic horse while donning an extremely seductive, custom Nusi Quero diamond-encrusted harness (reminiscent of the crystal top she wore on her debut album cover for Dangerously in Love in 2003). She chose a strong red lip, sensual eye makeup, and wavy locks in the style of the ’70s for her glam.
After releasing her first single from the album, “Break My Soul,” a house and bounce-inspired song with New Orleans rapper Big Freedia, last week, Bey has now revealed the album’s cover. The music is expected to get a visual in the near future.
Beyoncé sent a lengthy statement to her followers, which is unusual for the singer, explaining what the next album means to her personally.
“In a scary time for the world, making this record gave me a space to escape and dream. In a time when not much else was moving, it gave me the freedom and adventure I needed “She composed. “My goal was to establish a secure environment free from bias. a location where overthinking and perfectionism are not allowed. a location where one can yell, let off steam, and experience liberation. It was a lovely exploring adventure. I sincerely hope you enjoy this music. I’m hoping it motivates you to let go of the jiggle. Ha! And to feel as special, powerful, and alluring as you are.”
