Dr. Dre is required to pay a six-figure sum to his ex-wife every month

Following their divorce proceedings, Dr. Dre was ordered to pay a six-figure fee to his ex-wife, Nicole Young, each month.

When it was revealed last year that the couple was splitting up, Young demanded that the music mogul give her a stunning sum of money every month.

Young had wanted $2 million per month in spousal support, in addition to Dre paying her $5 million in legal fees, but a judge in Los Angeles Superior Court has granted a far smaller figure of $293,306 in spousal support.

This decision, according to Radar Online, is merely temporary until a final decision is reached.

‘[Dre] is directed to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,’ according to the court statement.

Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, will also continue to cover his ex-medical wife’s expenses.

They married in 1996 and now have two grown children together. In June 2020, Young filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable disagreements” as the reason for their breakup.

Young claimed they signed a prenup before they married, but the rapper tore it up a few years later, prompting legal battles. She stated that her ex-husband admitted “he felt guilty he had coerced me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up many copies of the agreement in front of me,” and that they both agreed the prenup had been nullified the day he tore up the documents.

Dre, on the other hand, rejects this and is requesting that the settlement be implemented as part of their divorce.

Dre made about $1 billion from his music and his company, Beats headphones, over the span of their 24-year marriage.

The Forgot About Dre rapper refers to Young as a “greedy b*tch” in a leak of one of his new songs.

‘(B*tch) Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury, I see you trying to f*ck me while I’m in surgery/In ICU, death bed, on some money sh*t,’ he adds, referring to his recent hospitalization following a brain aneurysm at the start of the year.

It’s unclear when their continuing legal actions will be completed.

Dr. Dre Receives Divorce Papers At Grandmother’s Funeral

Dr. Dre, the hip hop artist and super producer extraordinaire, was recently issued with divorce papers during the burial of his grandmother. This comes after a long period of conflict with his estranged ex-wife Nicole Young. Young filed for divorce from Dre in 2020 after 24 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The extra 1.2 million Dr. Dre is ordered by the judge to pay to cover Young’s legal bills is the subject of the most current set of divorce proceedings being filed. While both sides allege different versions of events, it is true that Dr. Dre was present at his grandmother’s funeral or was served with the papers by a process server immediately afterward.

Dre claims he was approached while standing at the coffin of his grandmother, who he believes played a significant part in his upbringing. Dre was served in the parking lot after the funeral ceremony, according to Young’s attorneys.

Dre was hospitalized earlier this year after suffering a brain aneurysm. Dre’s home was targeted for a break-in while he was recovering from his brain injury. Dr. Dre is having a particularly difficult year in 2021 as a result of all of these occurrences, as well as his continuing divorce.

Dre released a clip of a song earlier this year after his recuperation from the brain aneurysm, which included words like “(Bitch) Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury,” which alluded to both his disability and the pending divorce. Needless to say, this is not a painless divorce. Dre, along with longtime partner Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar, will headline the Super Bowl halftime concert next year. By then, the divorce proceedings should be in the rearview mirror. Quit

Big Sean Goes Off In Freestyle Over Jay-Z, Drake & Kanye West Beats

Big Sean stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles to show off his lyrical prowess in a new L.A. Leakers freestyle.

The Def Jam rapper rapped for nearly nine minutes, delivering a bar Big Sean kicked things off by spitting on Jay-“Dear Z’s Summer,” setting the tone quickly a decade after his last freestyle for the L.A. Leakers.

“I’ve given up wishing for the best and am now insisting on results/ If good karma doesn’t land on it first, I deal with it. Relentless how I give it all but never give in/ Just like NBA players in my girl’s DMs/ Consistently firing rounds that will never go in/ F### it, I’m only interested in creating money that we’ll never spend. My entire life feels like my blessings are arriving on time. I still despise seafood, but I’m a sucker for oysters,” he rapped.

About two minutes in, the L.A. Leakers switched things up by having Big Sean cover Drake’s “Love All” instrumental. With Kanye West’s “Hurricane” track, Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk rewrote the script once more.

“Everything I know now could’ve been added to the equation back then/

There’s nothing better than having it all, except losing it all and then regaining it.

I don’t need a casket when I die, I need a tomb/I don’t need a casket when I die, I need a tomb/I don’t need a casket when I die, I need a tomb/

My focus has returned, and now I’m being consumed/Yeah, I’m awake with the moon/Mother Nature, so what does it mean when I die and am buried? Sean Don rapped over the Yeezy track, “I’m going back in the womb.”

Big Sean finished the freestyle by rhyming over Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke?” instrumental, which was produced in Florida. The Detroit native didn’t seem phased by the shift in pace, as he altered his flow and continued to spit bars.
