Fans of Drake and Meek Mill certainly never envisioned a day when the two rappers would come together to celebrate each other’s success and record a few songs together in the studio just a few years ago.
Meek Mill’s highly awaited album Expensive Pain was released at 12 a.m., and the Certified Lover Boy himself showed his support for the Philly native by promoting his 5th studio album.
Drake posted in his Instagram story, “PAIN GETS EXPENSIVE AT MIDNIGHT.” “@meekmill happy of u boy, we were plotting the next chapter time to eat because the Bahamas fry up.”
The beef between Drake and Meek Mill began in 2015, when Meek Mill claimed Drake wrote his bars with the help of a ghostwriter. After a few musical barbs at one another, it’s fantastic to see the two put their differences aside and focus on their jobs. Meek Mill has released his fifth studio album, and we congratulate him.
