Three months later, Newt Scamander travels to London to appeal his international travel restriction, where he meets Leta Lestrange, a Hogwarts classmate and the fiancée of his older brother Theseus.
The Ministry agrees to fulfill Newt’s request if he assists Theseus in tracking down Credence Barebone, who is still alive in Paris, but Newt declines after learning that he will have to cooperate with brutal bounty hunter Gunnar Grimson.
Newt Scamander is asked to discover Credence by Albus Dumbledore, who believes Credence is Leta’s long-lost half-brother, Corvus Lestrange V.
On November 12, 2021, the sequel was supposed to be released in theaters. Filming was planned to start in early 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic forced a postponement.
Safety precautions were in place when the actors and crew began filming in September 2020, according to Redmayne.

The Hollywood Reporter(opens in new tab) released an article in 2020 saying that Depp was filming the third episode in the Harry Potter prequel trilogy when Warner Bros. chairman Toby Emmerich decided to drop him from the production.
The report comes after a court declared that Depp had won a court dispute against the British tabloid The Sun, which had called him a “wife-beater.”
According to the source, “the judge’s finding makes it simpler for news outlets to utilize comparable depictions when alluding to Depp’s turbulent two-year marriage to actress Amber Heard, causing a PR problem for the studio.”
Is Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beast season 3?
