Fantastic Beasts 4 is theoretically in the works at Warner Bros., but no official confirmation has been made – and the outlook appears dismal.
It was claimed (via Variety) before the launch of The Secrets of Dumbledore that the studio was waiting to see how the threequel was received before deciding whether or not to proceed with the other two films.
On April 15, 2022, the film will be released.

The film follows Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) when he travels to New York City in 1926 and encounters Jacob Kowalski, a No-Maj (American for Muggle) (Dan Fogler).
However, there has been no official announcement on the future of the Harry Potter spin-off series, so Fantastic Beasts 4 (and 5) might still see theaters, despite how unlikely it now appears.
The threequel may have earned slightly better reviews from reviewers and fans than The Crimes of Grindelwald, but it hasn’t translated into movie office success. The film has raked in $389 million globally as of May 26.
It will end its run as the lowest-grossing film in the Harry Potter franchise, grossing more than $200 million less than the previous low ($655 million for The Crimes of Grindelwald), therefore the next two films may not be released as scheduled.

There will be at least two more films in the Fantastic Beasts franchise after The Secrets of Dumbledore. Rowling revealed in 2016 that the Fantastic Beasts film series would be split into five installments, so there’s much more to look forward to after this one.
Of course, we don’t know what those films will be about just yet, but we can be comfortable that Newt Scamander will be seen a lot more following Fantastic Beasts 3.
