Jeff Gladney Biography

Jeff Gladney was an American football cornerback who was born on 12 December 1996 in New Boston, Texas, the United States to John Gladney( Father ) and his mother Jacinda Jefferson, and died on May 30, 2022, Born into a family of Five, he is the last born of his parent and siblings.

Jeff Gladney attended Boston High School in New Boston, Texas, the United States for his high school education He then got admitted to Texas Christian University for his Bachelor’s degree.

At Boston High school he played as a three-star recruit, he recorded five interceptions during his first year in the College thus making him popular.

When he was in high school he was rated No 11 in the state and No 81 in the country, a three-star recruit, and district 73A most valuable player, he had 570 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as a junior, when he played as a defensive back, Gladney helped lead New Boston that year to the state semi-final for the first time in the school history.

In 2015 as a freshman he redshirted his season on campus. In 2016 as a Redshirt freeman he played in 12 games with eight starts he was only the freshman to start the season opener against South, he started Dakota state he recorded 46 tackles against Arkansas. he started five of the first six games and the final three contest of the season, Gladney posted a season as the best eight stops against Arkansas which totaled six pass breakups

Which tied third for his team, he was the season-best two against Arkansas.

As a Sophomore in 2017, he played in 13 games with 11 starts which include the final nine contests, he was an honorable mention in all big 12 he recorded 28 tackles with solo stops he. had the first two interceptions of his career Gladney also had the season-high seven tackles against the Red Raider, he tied for third on the team with five pass breakups a junior in 2018, he was rated No. 1 in the big 12 in the lowest rating allowed (46.9) with a minimum of 200 coverage, he was also ranked. Surrendering reception every 16.5 coverage snap, Gladney finished third in the big 12 in passes defended at 1.15per game, he added multiple PUBs against Ohio State, Iowa state, and Baylor, and he was the team captain against West Virginia and Baylor.

In 2019 in his senior career, he played in all 12 games with 10 starts, he closed his senior career with 42 starts the most among his frog’s teammates, and he tied for second in the big 12 with 15 passes blocked.

Gladney was selected in the fourth round of 2020 NFL by the Minnesota Vikings as the team’s fourth Cornerback, he finished the season with 81 total tackles, three passes defended, and one fumble. He was signed to Arizona cardinals 1n 2022 but he never played for them before his death.

Jeff Gladney Personal life.

Gladney was never married before he died but he gave birth to one child Kingston Gee Gladney who was born on February 24, 2021, by his girlfriend Jane Doe.

He was arrested in the past because he was accused of assaulting his girlfriend, his girlfriend claimed that the NFL player domestically assaulted him when she demanded to see a text message in his car. he did not play during this time, on August 3, 2021, he was released from police authorities when he was not guilty of charges pressed against him. He died in a car crash on May 30, 2022

Jeff Gladney’s Cause of death

Jeff and his girlfriend Andrea Mercedes Palacious were the two people who lived in the car crash in an early Monday wreck, it was indicated that Gladney and Palacious were in a vehicle that was speeding and clipped the second vehicle from behind on the service road of Dallas highway, the car lost control and hit a pier beam just before 2:30 am on Monday over turning into glass land Gladney was 25 when Palacios was 26.

Jeff Gladney Car Accident

The Dallas County chief Department told WFAA TV that the cause of the car accident is under investigation it was confirmed that it is only Gladney and his girlfriend Palacios that died and that only died from the car crash there is no casualties in another vehicle. Gladney’s agent, Brian Overstreet, and the cardinal confirmed his death that he died on Monday morning.

The Cardinal said in the statement on Monday ” We are devastated to learn of Jeff Gladney’s passing our heart goes out to his family, friend, and all who are mourning this tremendous loss”
