Jennifer lopez is in a great place right now.
Jennifer Lopez claims she’s better than ever despite having had a busy year (she divorced from Alex Rodriguez and then began seeing her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck). The “On the Floor” singer talks her current track with Rauw Alejandroand, “Cambia El Paso,” and discloses facts about her life in a new interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
“I’m super happy,” jennifer Lopez tells People. “I know people are always asking, ‘How are you? What’s going on? Are you okay?’ This is it. I’ve never been better. I want my folks who care about me to know that I’ve actually gotten to a point in my life where I’m wonderful on my own.
She goes on to say, “And I believe that once you get there, great things happen to you that you could never fathom occurring again in your life. So that’s where I’m at right now. I’m grateful for all of the love and well wishes that are currently being sent my way. And I just want everyone to know that this is the best period of their lives. It is the most wonderful time of my life.”
The actor who plays the Wedding Planner is having a moment (isn’t she always?). Shotgun Wedding, her upcoming film, will be released next year, and she is now promoting her new single. She’s also apparently returning to Los Angeles for a “new start” (and to, presumably, be closer to Affleck).
“I’m OK. Right now, I’m in love with my life. What I’m doing is something I really enjoy. I’m in a great place right now. I adore the person I’m always transforming into and becoming “she continues. “And that type of happiness, that kind of love, that kind of joy motivates me all the time.”
Jennifer Lopez reveals that “some people become tremendously inspired when they’re heartbroken,” but she is the “opposite,” saying, “When I feel really fantastic, I genuinely feel like I do my greatest music.” So when I returned from the Dominican Republic, I quickly informed everyone I knew and said, “I want to get in the studio.”
