Lil Baby and Lil Durk are commemorating a significant achievement in their careers. According to Durk, their Back Outside Tour brought approximately $15 million in ticket sales.
Durk posted a photo of himself and an unnamed man, who looks to be a Live Nation employee, holding up a framed plaque recognizing the success of their 23-city U.S. tour on Monday (Oct. 18). “We did it,” the Chicago rapper wrote, adding two tornado emojis. “250k tickets sold overall profit 15mssss @lilbaby we did it.”
Durkio’s post follows Quality Control Music CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ IG Story video of the same man presenting Lil Baby with the same aforementioned plaque, which he shared on Sunday night (Oct. 17).
“150,000 tickets sold, $15 million gross over the course of the show,” the man in the video added. “This is a small token from us to you as a way of saying, ‘Thank you for everything, man.’ It’s been a lovely tour.’
“They said we weren’t going to sell no tickets,” Thomas mocked, referring to critics who questioned Durk and Baby’s ability to sell out the tour.
Lil Baby, on the other hand, is taking a well-deserved break. Aboard Monday, the Atlanta rapper posted a few flossy photographs on his Instagram page, including one in which he’s wearing light blue jeans and a matching jacket on a private plane while flaunting his pricey jewels.
“The Bacc Outdoor Tour Was A Huge Success!! Now it’s time for me to get some rest!! I’m stepping on Niggas’ necks when I get back, “Along with a huffing face and peace sign emojis, he stated in the post.
