People are perplexed by Lil Durk’s recent Instagram caption, which refers to Drake and Kanye West’s new albums.
Durkio shared a series of images of himself on his Instagram feed on Sunday (Oct. 3). People are scratching their heads about the post’s caption. He wrote, “Ask my bitch, I was a CLB before it was a DONDA,” referring to Aubrey and Yeezy’s just released No. 1 albums. Many individuals were perplexed by the statement because it was made without context. Was it meant to be a dig at Kanye? In the midst of Drizzy and Yeezy’s newest feud, a notification of solidarity with Drake?
“What is this nigga talking about?” someone asked, adding two sobbing laughing emojis to the mix.
Another individual commented, “Lmao wtf kinda caption is this like what does this mean.”
Another comment said, “Ye boutta delete him from DONDA,” referring to Durk’s appearance on the Donda tune. “Jonah.”
Another perplexed fan commented, “That caption makes no sense.”
The last image in the slide is the same one Durk shared on Twitter lately to announce a collaboration with Lyrical Lemonade. So there’s a chance the Chicago rapper is hinting to that in his Instagram caption. However, without more information, it’s difficult to say.
Durk is absolutely in his element right now. He has the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of any musician in 2021, according to reports earlier this month. He has nine nominations for the upcoming 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards, which premiere on Tuesday (October 5), including Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse, Best Collaboration, Best Hip Hop Video, Best Duo, and more.
