Eminem and Skylar Grey have released a new song for the Venom 2 soundtrack called “Last One Standing,” which also features Polo G and Mozzy. You can listen to “Last One Standing” below.
The song will be featured in the next Marvel Comics film Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which is a sequel to Tom Hardy’s 2018 thriller Venom.
Eminem’s participation on “Last One Standing” has finally been released after being teased by the rapper yesterday (September 29).
“Over the past year, I’ve been very picky about the projects I work on, outside of working on my album,” Skylar Grey says of the song, which also features Polo G and Mozzy. I’ve been putting a lot of effort into finding the perfect collaborations and film/TV projects. This song came together like a perfect storm.”
“Venom is one of my favorite superheroes because he’s an antihero, which I relate to,” Grey continued. Also, one of my favorite actors is Tom Hardy. As a result, I feel privileged to be a part of this.”
Eminem previously provided the song “Venom” from his “Kamikaze” album to the 2018 film of the same name.
In his hometown of Detroit, Eminem opened a new pop-up cafe called Mom’s Spaghetti yesterday.
His 2002 hit “Lose Yourself,” which was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack, inspired the restaurant’s name: “His hands are sweating, legs are weak, arms are heavy / There’s puke on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”
