NAS & HIT-BOY CONFIRM ‘KING’S DISEASE 3’ IS ON THE WAY

Nas and Hit Boy’s chemistry is guaranteed to last for years to come, even after their Magic album drops on Friday (December 24).

Nas rapped the news on “Ugly” off their new album, and Hit-Boy also shared the lyrics on Twitter, confirming that a King’s Disease 3 album will be released at some time.

Nas raps in the first stanza, “I’m on offense every day until I see the love.” “KD3 is on the way, and this is only to keep the hype going.”

In August, Nas suggested the possibility of a third collaborative album with Hit-Boy, referring to him as his Quincy Jones.

He added at the time, “He’s like my Quincy [Jones], you know what I mean?” “So I’m thinking that the next thing I do, if I work with Hit-Boy on the next thing I do, we might be able to create something wonderful.”

“I believe what we have is extraordinary,” he continued. I’m delighted about the prospect of doing another one if we do another one, but right now, we’re enjoying this one.”

Big Sean, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Anderson.Paak, The Firm, Fivio Foreign, A$AP Ferg, and others were featured on the inaugural King’s Disease album, which was released in August 2020. It debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart with over 47,000 total album-equivalent units and went on to earn Nas his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards in 2021.

King’s Disease II followed in August 2021, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with around 47,000 total album-equivalent sales. The album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards, where Nas will compete against J. Cole, Drake, Tyler, The Creator, and Kanye West, and features Eminem, Lauryn Hill, EPMD, YG, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
