Angela Kukawski, Nicki Minaj’s former business manager, was found dead in the boot of a car, and Nicki Minaj has paid tribute to her.
The R&B singer paid a touching homage to her ex-manager, Angela Kukawski, a 55-year-old mother of five who was murdered in a car accident.
A heartbroken woman On her Instagram story, Nicki wrote: “You’ve just met the hardest working, most dependable, and loveliest person you’ve ever met. Angela, you didn’t deserve this. For your children, my heart breaks. Rest in peace, my friend.”
Following an incident in California last week, Angela’s death was ruled a homicide.
The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested Angela’s boyfriend, Jason Barker, who has been charged with murder after her body was discovered, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The body of the 55-year-old mother of five was discovered in the boot of a car parked in Simi Valley, north of Los Angeles, according to reports.
Angela appeared to work with a number of high-profile clientele, including the Kardashian family and the late Tupac Shakur, and several other A-list celebrities paid tribute to her.
“Angela was absolutely the finest,” the Kardashian-Jenner family said in a statement. She genuinely cared about each of us and was capable of doing the seemingly impossible.
“She will be sorely missed, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends at this difficult time.”
Angela worked at Boulevard Management in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, where she provided “financial management services to entertainers, athletes, and high-net-worth individuals.”
“We are grieved and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski,” a corporate representative said. Angie was a wonderful, compassionate lady who will be missed by all who knew her.
“Our heartfelt sympathies to Angie’s whole family and friends.”
