Cardi B and Offset have opposing viewpoints on how their three-month-old son should be dressed.
Cardi wanted to get him a checked grey fedora when the married rappers went to Target to grab their youngest child some new clothes.
The Migos star, though, opposed in an Instagram video, stating, “Oh hell nah.” Man, I’m not going to put that s**t on my son… “I had my boy looking like Ne-Yo,” the rapper says, referring to the hat-wearing R&B singer.
She also noticed a preppy costume consisting of red trousers, a matching bowtie, as well as a blue shirt and braces, which was the first of the “Bodak Yellow” musician’s ideas.
Cardi described the clothing as “cute,” but Offset was less enthusiastic, claiming that it would make their son seem like Carlton, Will Smith’s dorky nephew from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
Cardi’s unconventional fashion selections are in stark contrast to what he chooses for his older sister Kulture, three, who already has her own expensive jewelry collection and bags from Hermes, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Dior.
The “WAP” singer has even posed with her daughter in luxury ensembles that are identical.
Cardi and Offset have kept their second child’s name a secret since they had him in September.
