A supposed romance between Hip Hop musicians Saweetie and Lil Baby has sparked a lot of conjecture. Quavo of the Migos, Saweetie’s ex-boyfriend, joined the conversation.
Both Lil Baby and Quavo are contracted to Quality Control Music, an Atlanta-based record company. Many rap fans were waiting to hear what Quavo had to say about his labelmate supposedly dating his ex-girlfriend.
“I’m not on a trip.” We’ll be able to swap it out! “#QCTHELABEL,” Quavo wrote on his Instagram Story on Monday morning. While he didn’t mention Saweetie or Lil Baby by name, it was evident that the “Workin Me” rhymer was alluding to them.
In 2021, Quavo and Saweetie parted ways.
In 2018, Quavo and Saweetie started dating. They had a public breakup earlier this year, with the “Emotional” collaborators tweeting about each other after the breakup.
“I’m not married.” Behind the scenes, I’ve been through much too much treachery and pain for a false narrative to be spreading that undermines my reputation. In March, Saweetie tweeted, “Presents don’t heal hurts, and love isn’t real when intimacy is given to other women.”
“I know you want to make this into a spectacle, so I’ll play my part just this one,” Quavo said on Twitter. I don’t usually publicize my business, let alone my personal life. I feel compelled to speak up about this so that there are no misleading narratives.
Quavo and Saweetie Got Into An Elevator Fight
In addition, video of Saweetie and Quavo fighting in an elevator has surfaced on the internet. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, on the other hand, opted not to pursue criminal charges against any performer.
“Almost a year ago, we experienced an awful event from which we both learned and went on. In April, Quavo said of the elevator encounter, “I haven’t physically harmed Saweetie and I have true gratitude for what we did share overall.”
“This terrible incident occurred a year ago, and while we have reconciled since then and gone past this particular argument, there were simply too many other barriers in our relationship to surmount, and we have both since moved on,” Saweetie added.
