TEKASHI 6IX9INE SUED FOR SKIPPING A PERFORMANCE AFTER COLLECTING HIS BAG

On the plug, Tekashi 6ix9ine bolted. Tekashi was paid $75,000 to play in Houston, according to Radar Online. 6ix9ine left the venue without performing after flying in from Florida.

Documents filed in court reveal JJJD Entertainment booked Tekashi, who is now suing 6ix9ine and Murda MGMT.

According to Jamie Dominquez’s JJD, the team met with Will Cornish, one of the rapper’s representatives. Tekashi was supposed to perform at the Humble Civic Center on June 27. He received $45,000 upon signing the contract and another $75,000 on the day of the event. He was also paid $20,000 for a private plane to Texas, which came to a total of $28,000 for the promoter.

Tekashi’s team would keep changing the parameters throughout the negotiations, resulting in a $100,000 bill. JJD Entertainment spent more than $178,000 on the rapper and $100,000 on the venue, security, and insurance, only to have to issue refunds and face a loss.

Tekashi stated in the lawsuit that he was owed $250k for the show, which JJD denies. The corporation is seeking additional damages from Tekashi for causing the company’s reputation to be harmed.
