TRAVIS SCOTT HIRES PROMINENT LOS ANGELES TRIAL LAWYER FOR ASTROWORLD TRAGEDY

Following the Astroworld tragedy, Travis Scott, a Houston local, is preparing to face the music.

According to sources, Travis has retained well-known Los Angeles trial lawyer Daniel Petrocelli to manage the legal proceedings surrounding the sad events.

According to sources, Petrocelli emailed lawyers representing claimants in the Astroworld Festival disaster late last Wednesday, claiming that he now represents Travis Scott. He also made an official offer to pay for the funerals of those who perished during the Houston performance on Nov. 5.

The family of Ezra Blount, a 9-year-old who was seriously hurt and eventually died as a result of the concert’s events, declined the offer.

In an email to Petrocelli, Corpus Christi attorney Bob Hilliard replied, “Your client’s offer is denied.”

O’Melveny & Myers’ head of litigation is Petrocelli. The same law firm that represented Ron Goldman’s father in a wrongful death lawsuit against O.J. Simpson. The lawsuit resulted in an award of $8.5 million to Goldman’s family.

Despite the fact that the cases are piling up, some attorneys believe Scott will not be found totally responsible.

More than 120 wrongful death, personal injury, and premises liability claims have been filed against Scott as a result of the 2021 Astroworld Festival.

Hundreds were hurt, and ten people died as a result of the incident.
