Tyler the Creator, Reveals His Top 5 Jay-Z Songs

Tyler, the Creator shares his top five JAY-Z tracks.

The Call Me If You Get Lost rapper was invited to share his favorite tracks in honor of the hip-hop legend’s birthday on Saturday (Dec. 4).

He began by naming three Neptunes-produced tracks: “F**k All Nite,” “Excuse Me Miss,” and “Allure.”

Tyler, who worked with JAY-Z on Frank Ocean’s 2017 single “Biking,” also praised Hov’s verse on Vol. 3’s “Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up).” S. Carter’s Life and Times, which he described as “wild, mad.”

Tyler even included Jigga’s 2006 “Grammy Family” freestyle for Funkmaster Flex in his top 5, while “Show You How” from The Blueprint 2 received an honorable mention. “As a kid, that last verse on ‘Show You How’ put a lot of things into perspective for me,” he remarked.

Tyler, who recently received two Grammy nominations, will kick off his Call Me If You Get Lost tour in February, with special guests Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, and Teezo Touchdown, in support of his critically acclaimed record.
