Wiz Khalifa and Logic are collaborating on a co-headlining tour that will kick out this summer.
On Monday, the tour, called Vinyl Verse Tour 2022, was revealed (April 18). DJ Drama, former XXL Freshman 24KGoldn, Fedd The God, and C Dot Castro will be among the special guests on the cross-country tour. The tour begins on July 27 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, and will stop in 28 cities across the country, including Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Charlotte, N.C., Virginia Beach, Va., Cincinatti, Ohio, and more, before wrapping up on September 2 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Mo. On April 22, tickets will go on sale.
The tour announcement follows Wiz Khalifa’s release of Full Court Press, a collaborative album featuring Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA, and Girl Talk. The album was his second in 2022, following the Stoner’s Night collaboration with Juicy J, which was released in February. Wiz recently made news in hip-hop after rapper-turned-podcaster Gillie Da Kid said Wiz had Gillie’s Instagram page taken down after Gillie made a joke on IG about Wiz sharing videos of him doing workouts in his underpants.
Logic, on the other hand, has been mostly silent since announcing his retirement and final album in July 2020, as well as a poignant farewell to hip-hop. Logic’s rap itch hasn’t left him, as he’s released the mixtapes Planetory Destruction and Bobby Tarantino III since then.
